Building Momentum for Boca Surf Park

How You Can Help

Boca Surf Park is gaining momentum. Moreover, the response from residents, surfers, families, and local leaders has been strong. As a result, support is growing across Boca Raton. Our city is ready for a destination that blends recreation, wellness, and community in a new way for South Florida.

A Public Private Partnership with No Cost to Taxpayers

The project is proposed on Beach and Parks land through a public private partnership. Therefore, funding will be 100 percent private. In addition, the model protects taxpayers while delivering long-term community benefits. These include jobs, economic impact, and upgraded public recreation.

How You Can Make a Difference Right Now

Community support matters. In fact, your actions today can help the project advance. Consider the three steps below.

  1. Send an email of support to the commissioners: Explain why Boca Raton deserves this surf park. For example, share a personal reason or a family need. Authentic, specific messages carry the most weight.
  2. Attend the next public meeting in person: Each meeting opens with public comments. You will have up to three minutes to speak. Therefore, use that time to share what this project would mean to you and your community.
  3. Invite friends and family: Encourage others to attend and send messages of support. In addition, ask them to share the update with neighbors.
